Service Description

Unlock the knowledge of the space round your body. This class is for intermediate level skaters but beginners are welcome too!  We will begin by breaking the space around our bodies into planes, areas of space which we will be spinning our staffs.  We will move through drills to strengthen our positional awareness of the staff as we spin them. Once we feel comfortable stationary staff spinning, we can include our skating movements and practice our rhythm, making skating with staff an exciting and dynamic way to flow with the jams. What to expect - Spinning tempo, understanding the timing of your spinning staff to allow for smooth movement and transitions. - Learning to understand the space round our bodies and the names the planes in which we spin the staff. - Passing the staff from hand to hand while incorporating skate drills to make a synthesis of skate and flow. - Contact Staff, Lean to skate with staff without even holding it! - Let’s have fun and be safe!
