Service Description

Ready to take your skating out of the rink and onto the road? Come take our Rollout Readiness class to feel more comfortable with the obstacles you'll meet out on the streets, and get ready to roll with us at our Thursday Night Skates! This class is geared toward both inline and quad skaters who have the basics down but want to feel more confident with street skating. We'll cover real-world obstacles like transfers from sidewalk to street, cracks, uneven pavement, hills, poor visibility, and more. To finish, we'll offer an optional mini rollout to the Mar Vista Farmers Market, about 1.3 miles each way (roughly 2.6 miles round trip). It's a fun, low-key way to put your new skills to use in the real world (and maybe grab a treat while we're at it 🍓). Prefer to keep practicing at the rink instead? Totally fine. Just finished our 3-week Beginner Lesson Program? This is your perfect next step. Rollout Readiness picks up right where the beginner program leaves off, taking you from "I can skate" to "I can skate anywhere," and prepping you to join our weekly Thursday Night Rollouts.
