🌅 Marvin Braude Bike Trail (The Strand)

This 22-mile path runs along the coast from Torrance Beach to Will Rogers State Beach, offering ocean views and plenty of space to cruise. Perfect for long-distance skates or casual sunset rolls and landing it near the top of the list of best outdoor skate spots in Los Angeles.

A legendary LA skate destination, the boardwalk offers a lively skate route that includes Muscle Beach and Santa Monica Pier. For those into dance skating, the Venice Roller Dance Plaza is a fun place to meet others in the community. There are group meetups on Sundays and Mondays.

If you’re on the East side, this eight-mile stretch in Elysian Valley is a great option for a scenic, uninterrupted ride. The LA River is beautiful during the Spring, when greenery is in full bloom! Lots of cafes and fun shops to stop off at along the way, too.

The Skate Hunnies get down with Tadaa Group and Rhythm Stilter on the Taylor Yard Bridge in Frogtown off the Los Angeles River Bike Path.

🏒 Mar Vista Recreation Center 

This Westside spot is home to a roller hockey rink that opens to the public for free skate sessions. It’s a great option for practicing skills or joining a casual pickup skate with the community. Just make sure to check the Hockey League calendar for games and practices before rolling over.
